To make a podcast using Audacity, you need a computer, headphones with a microphone, and a script. You plug your headphones into the computer, check the sound levels and microphone settings, open Audacity, and click the red record button to record your voice while seeing blue sound waves. After recording, save the project file and export it as an MP3 file without closing Audacity to complete your podcast.

Save your work… As usual go to FILE and then SAVE PROJECT AS intro in All pupils>>Mrs. Butterfield>>Podcasts thenDO NOT CLOSE THE PROGRAM Now go back to the FILE again and this time click EXPORT AS MP3 and save the work again (don’t worry about extra things that come up!) Voilà you have your podcast!!
