2. Log into your Google account

3. Go to drive and Click on dots in upper right

4. Select “Sites”

5. Select: Create Website

6. Name Your Website
(Your first name) -How to use a Library,
a User's Guide for Martians

7. SET Sharing Permissions as shown

8. Anyone at RGS can View
Who?
Can do what?
Save Save Save

9. Getting back to your website
Click on the name of your site to get back

10. Link your website here( in this Google Form)
You will need your site’s home address
Highlight address, Copy (control c = copy) & Paste (control v )
This is where you will find your home address or URL

11. Create 5 pages and Label them as listed:
Page 1- Card Catalog and Call Numbers
Page 2- Sections of a Library and Call Numbers for each section
Page 3 How to locate fiction and everybody books
Page 4 Nonfiction books- what they are and how to locate them using the
Dewey Decimal System
Page 5 Book Recommendations for Young Martians

12. Add and Name Pages

13. Name Page and Save
Type Page Title

14. Add the remaining pages and Label them as
listed:
Page 2- Sections of a Library and Call Numbers for each section
Page 3 How to locate fiction and everybody books
Page 4 Nonfiction books- what they are and how to locate them using the
Dewey Decimal System
Page 5 Book Recommendations for Young Martians

15. Name each page
Select to put them under home
And Save, Save, Save

16. NOW for the fun!
We will add:
Content
Images
a U-Tube videos and more.

17. To make the process easier I have added some content you may
use (Copy and Paste) and resource links.
You use anything on my Example Website, but I hope you will
find much, at least half, of your own material.
RGS library webpage also has resources
Remember to save web addresses to give credit to those whose
materials you use.
