This document discusses how to know Christ as your personal savior. It explains that we are separated from God due to sin but that Jesus bridged the gap through his death and resurrection. To receive Christ, one must admit they are a sinner, repent of their sins, believe Jesus died for them, and invite him into their life. The document encourages growing one's relationship with Christ through reading the Bible, prayer, fellowship, obedience, and telling others about him.
What does it take to begin a relationship with God? Devote yourself to unselfish religious deeds? Become a better person so that God will accept you?

Many people think they will go to heaven because they have lived a good life. Perhaps, they treat all of their neighbors fairly. Maybe they volunteer for charity work and have never broken the law. Maybe they were even baptized or go to church regularly. But the Bible, God's Word, says that no one can live up to God's standard of righteousness.
This Roman Road as laid out in scripture is God’s plan of salvation set forth in Paul’s letter to the Romans. The following scriptures build a beautiful road to Jesus Christ.

A lesson by Mike Smith. Everyone should develop upward thinking. This is the focus on things from heaven which are God's things which He wants us to think about and things to do while we're here on earth.

Service Design at KISK (2): Goal Oriented PersonasAdamHazdra
Second lecture of Service Design Course at KISK FF Masaryk University in Brno. This time on personas and why to make them goal oriented as Cooper Design does.
The second study in our "Growing Deep in the Gospel" series in which we answer the question, "What is the Gospel?" In answering the question we looked at how the word "gospel" was used in Jesus' day and how the Bible describes the gospel. We also looked at what is the heart of the gospel, a outline of the basic gospel message and an outline of the gospel based on the entire Bible.
These slides are intended to explain Christmas to those who may be unfamiliar, such as international students. The perspective is from the Bible. Good for presentations.

Is Jesus Christ the only way to salvation? Our answer is "Yes". In a world today where pluralism and relativism are readily embraced, where people try to accommodate every idea and notion, and pretentiously overlook obvious contradictions, truth that is "hard and fast" is not readily welcomed. But our goal is not to please people but to proclaim the truth in love and understanding. Each one is free then to make their own decision after having heard the truth. We present 3 simple, yet important reasons why.

The author often cites the bible in prayer, and is based on the concatenation of the scriptures, which often attracts criticism from others. In my daily life, I look for God’s words as a standard of conduct, especially in terms of diet, 129. It was even more subject to criticism. And some people persuaded why it was so ostentatious, why not join the group with everyone? These seem to be reasonable, especially the truth of the world, but in my opinion this is a betrayal of God. But God’s grace is showing up under your constant perseverance, such as the few daily ailments, after surgery quick recovery, and countless eternal blessings,
1. How to Know Christ You can know Christ as your personal Savior & Lord and know that you will be in Heaven with Him one day. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast." --Ephesians 2:8,9
2. God's Purpose: Peace and Life God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life -- abundant and eternal. The Bible says ... "We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." --Romans 5:1 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." --John 3:16 "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." --John 10:10 Why don't most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?
3.
4. God’s Bridge: The Cross Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people. Because of this, we can know Christ as our personal Savior & Lord. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." --1 Timothy 2:5 "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." --1 Peter 3:18 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." --Romans 5:8 God has provided the only way. Each person must make a choice.
5. Our Response: Receive Christ To know Christ we must trust Jesus as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation. "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." --Revelation 3:20 "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." -- John 1:12 "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." --Romans 10:9 Where are you? Will you receive Jesus Christ right now? Here is how you can receive & know Christ: 1. Admit your need (I am a sinner; I have disobeyed God). 2. Be willing to turn from your sins (Repent-turn away from your own sinful way and turn to God). 3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave. (Don't just believe it in your head, choose to believe it with your heart). 4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior; put your belief into action - choose to trust Him with your life now and for eternity. It's called Faith. It's a decision you'll never regret!)
6. God’s Assurance: His Word If you prayed the sinners prayer, Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen. The Bible says ... "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." --Romans 10:13 Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has He given you? "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast." --Ephesians 2:8,9 Receiving Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the "new birth."
7. Here are some things that will help… If you have given your life to Christ, He wants you to grow in that relationship. Now you know Christ, but everyday is a chance to get to know Christ even better. 1. Obtain a Bible and read it every day. 2. Talk to God in prayer expressing your heart to Him. 3. Get involved in a church where you can learn more about the Bible and fellowship with other Christians. 4. Tell others about Christ and what He has done for you. 5. Obey God in what His Word says. 6. Trust Him with every detail of your life. Note: I have had a few people contact me and ask "what about baptism?". We do believe baptism is important; it is an act of obedience as we follow Christ's example. It also is a public profession identifying us with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. It paints a picture of the change that has taken place in our lives as we have died to sin and are now alive in Christ!
