How to Create an Effective PowerPoint Presentation

• Bright colors can help point certain things

• Keep it Simple!
4. Quality Pictures
• When using images be sure to use high
quality images from either Clip Art or
from an appropriate web page.
• Examples of web pages to use are Flickr
Commons and Wikimedia Commons.
• Cite anything that you use!
5. • Remember, do not fill up your slides with
unnecessary information.
• Slides are visual aids, they should compliment
what you are saying.
• Use good quality pictures, and make sure
you cite your sources
• No child like illustrations.
