eco-friendly at
school?
What Is the
Meaning of Being
Eco-Friendly?
Being eco-friendly means being kind to
the Earth! It's like being a superhero for
our planet. We can help the Earth by
doing things like recycling, using less
water, and taking care of plants. It's like
giving the Earth big hugs to keep it
healthy and happy!
Recycling
We can put our paper and plastic in
special bins instead of throwing
them in the trash. This helps the
Earth stay clean and happy!
Saving Water
When we wash our hands and
brush our teeth, we can turn off
the water when we’re not using
it. That way, we don’t waste
water, and there’s more for
everyone.
Using Both Sides of
the Paper
When we draw or color, we can
use both sides of the paper. That
way, we save trees, and the trees
can keep growing and giving us
fresh air.
Bringing a Reusable Water Bottle
Instead of using lots of plastic bottles, we can bring a special bottle from
home. We can fill it up with water whenever we’re thirsty, and it’s good
for the Earth because we don’t make too much trash.
Turning Off the
Lights and the T.V.
When we leave a room, we
can turn off the lights and the
TV. That way, we save
electricity, and it’s like giving
the Earth a big hug!
