This document provides guidance on answering GCSE RE questions. It explains that each question is divided into 5 parts worth a total of 24 marks. Part (a) is worth 1 mark and requires a simple definition. Part (b) is worth 2 marks and requires two statements about a religion. Part (c) is worth 3 marks and requires more detailed statements or an explained statement. Part (d) is worth 6 marks and requires explaining religious teachings differently for different people. Part (e) is worth 12 marks, the most, and requires responding to a quote by explaining, comparing and contrasting religious views, including one's own views.
