2. Technological advancements
We can’t do without them!

3. Can you imagine
yourself without a
Smartphone?

4. I have tools to
 make me productive
 connect with peers and others
 help me organize and manage
my life/business, etc.

5. But there’s a price!

6. Technology has affected
our lives in a
bad way!

7. The face of
“Social”
has changed

8. Connect, Follow, Friend, Like
These words carry a different meaning now

9. Social
is no more necessarily
face to face

10. You and your friend
can sit in front of computers
and talk via Skype

11. Yup surely
this is a positive thing

12. Without the technology,
you wouldn’t be able to talk to
FRIENDS/FAMILY
who are away

13. But consider this >
You sit at a restaurant table
with 5 friends

14. And each one of you put your face down,
hold your Smartphone and
check emails/update social status

15. Even with Google Glass
(which is considered less distracting),
you STILL ignore others

16. The face of
“LIFESTYLE”
has changed

17. When is the last time
you went shopping?
I mean REAL shopping?

18. We used to
 walk a lot,
 breathe fresh air
 give our eyes and brain some
new colors, etc.,
while shopping

19. Now, most of us shop
online

20. Not just shopping, but
 listening to music
 playing games
 watching movies
 reading books
- we do all these the same way
- we sit in front of a computer

21. Or hold a Smartphone or Tablet
at our palms

22. This DOES take
a toll on
OUR HEALTH

23. We end up having
 poor eating habits
 obesity
 back pain
 vision problems
 and even some unexplained illness

24. I’m not trying to
scare you

25. I’m not asking you to drop
using tech gadgets either
(I won’t be able to do it myself)

26. But we should have
everything in control
OUR
CONTROL

27. Tech gadgets are here to
HELP US, SERVE US
not the other way round

28. Use them;
but don’t get
ADDICTED TO THEM
