My group decided to focus on gender in our 2 minuet opening
sequence, although our opening sequence is mainly female, the costumes
we have decided and personality's we have used portray how females can be
shown in the media.
Usual representations of teenagers in
 the media.
Young people are not always represented positively in the media, these
images will show how they are often shown as in media:
Jasmine
The main character Jasmine, we have chosen to show as a innocent
teenager, although we have shown her not to have many friends, we have
chosen to show her innocence through the way she acts and the flowing
white dress also shows her to be cute, innocent and carefree. The fact that
she is also reading a child’s book also shows her to be child minded.
