How Your Ear Works
 Sound waves move
  from their source and
  make matter around
  them vibrate.
 The shape of your
  outer ear directs the
  sound to your inner
  ear, like a funnel
  directs material from
  one place to another.
How Your Ear Works
                      Sound waves
                      move through
                      your ear to get
                      the sound
                      messages to your
                      brain.
The Eardrum

 Sound waves hit a thin
 skin called the
 eardrum causing it to
 vibrate.
Three Tiny Bones
       As the eardrum
       vibrates, it causes
       three tiny bones to
       vibrate.
