Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): A mercy to all creation!F El Mohdar
The more science and technology advances, the greater is the need for the observance and practice of the teachings and instructions of divine prophets in human societies. This is because science and technology provide only machines and instruments and by no means prevent their misuse by human beings.
The terrible rise in murder, other felonies, corruption, suicide and so forth clearly points to this very fact. If morality, which is a significant part of the teachings of divine prophets, does not prevail and govern in human societies, surely not only will advanced science and technology fail to ensure human peace and prosperity, but they will add to our problems and miseries. For the exploiters and colonialists utilize advanced technology and sciences for their own satanic purposes. They murder or make homeless millions of human beings as they have always done and trample upon the rights of the weak and the defenseless.
As a matter of fact, the only factor that can halter man's restive soul and control his stormy instincts and passions and thus utilize science and technology for human prosperity and pacific life is true morality, which originates in faith in God.
The moral teachings and precepts of the divine prophets and their moral behavior are the best means of leading man to his ideal life. It goes without saying that both in personal and in social life the observance of moral principles is required of all. However, for those who must lead societies and guide the people, this requirement is much greater, because, first, the one who is the instructor of society must himself be a model of supreme moral behavior and excellent human characteristics, so he will be able to wipe moral decay out of people's hearts and minds. Obviously if he himself is lacking in morality, he will fail to lead the people onto the path of humanity and virtue.
Second, the responsibility of leading human societies is so great and crucial that no one can successfully perform it unless he has perfect morals. For this reason, God selected his prophets from among those who possessed exalted spirits, great tolerance, extraordinary patience, and other excellent moral characteristics. It was with this weapon of morality that divine prophets overturned the debased societies that were plunged in corruption and led the ignorant people who had gone astray onto the path of virtue and salvation.
In the Glorious Qur'an, Almighty God has addressed the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): "Thus it is due to mercy from God that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard-hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you." (3:159)
The sublime celestial morals of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought about the waves of the revolution of Islam first in Arabian society and afterwards all over the world. In the light of this all-embracing spiritual and intellectual resurrection, dispersion turned into unity, unchastity into chastity and virtue, idleness into hard work and industry, selfishness to altruism, and Arab arrogance to modesty and affection. Men and women were thus trained to become models of good moral behavior and have altruistic manners forever. The morals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) were so sublime and praiseworthy that Almighty God has regarded them as great. "And truly you (Muhammad) possess great morals." (68:4)
Rights of neighbors are described in this program in the light of Quran, Sunnah and the examples of Sahabah. How should we interact with non Muslim neighbors? Some helpful tips are given.
The Meaning of the Qur'an is a fresh English rendering of Tafhim-ul-Qur’an, Maulana Syed Abu Ala Moududi’s monumental and masterly Urdu translation of the Qur’an and a selection of his commentary. The translator has undertaken the delicate and difficult task of rendering this work in English under the guidance of the Maulana himself. Here is a work with a difference, by a dedicated scholar of an entirely different sort. An immense wealth of profound understanding of the Qur’an is here, a vast treasure of knowledge and deep insight, and a valuable exposition of some social, political, economic and legal teachings of the Qur’an.
This comprehensive Tafsir answers contemporary questions, and makes the Qur’an fully relevant to the concerns of day, yet it loses nothing of its timelessness nor sacrifices any of the traditional understanding. It demonstrates the unity and coherence of the Qur’an by centring everything on its message, like gems hung on a single string.
This Tafsir is particularly suitable for Muslims with no direct access to the Arabic original.
Last Sermon of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is very comprehensive. While it aims at developing a social system based on justice, it underlines a balanced family life, individual accountability and spiritualism by keeping relationship with Allah, and duty of each individual to communicate the right knowledge to others.
Islam looks at life as indivisible whole, and (unlike various dogmas) does not artificially split life into secular (political, social, economic etc.) and religious (prayer, supplications, customs) domains.
Anne Stephens (Khadiejah) of www.Muhammad.com articulated in 37 booklets some of the 9408 companies of Prophet Muhammad, whom Hafiz Ibn Hajar compiled their biographies. Enjoy

12. LOVE THY BROTHER
• Inform your brother or sister of your love to

a brother of mine who lives in this village.‟
The angel asked, „Have you done him any
favor (for which you are now seeking
repayment)?‟ He said,‟ No. I just love him
for the sake of Allah.‟ The angel told him, „I
am a messenger to you from Allah, sent
to tell you that He loves you as you love
your brother for His sake.” (Muslim)
10/2/2012 13
14. Visit the Sick……
Visit the sick, attend funerals, pray
for others and accept the invitation
– The Messenger of Allah commanded us
to visit the sick, to attend funerals, to
bless someone when he sneezes, to fulfill

to greet everyone with salam.” (Bukhari

dispute fairly between two people is an act of
charity; helping a man to get up on his beast
or load his goods onto it is an act of charity ; a
good word is an act of charity; every step
taken towards prayer is an act of charity; and
removing something harmful from the road is
act of charity” (Bukhari and Muslim)
10/2/2012 20
21. Be Tolerant and Forgiving
Anas said: “ I was walking with the
messenger of Allah, and he was wearing a
Najrani cloak with a stiff collar. A Bedouin
came up to him and grabbed him roughly, and
I looked at the prophet‟s shoulder and saw the
mark left by his collar because of this rough
approach. Then the Bedouin said, „O
Muhammad, order that I be given some of the
wealth of Allah that you have!‟ The prophet
turned to him and smiled, then ordered that
he be given something.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Disclose Secrets
Be proud and do not beg

28. Do not remind the beneficiaries of
your charity
“ There are three to whom Allah will not
speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor look at,
nor commend them, and theirs will be a severe
punishment.” The messenger of Allah repeated
this three times. Abu Dharr said: “ They are
truly lost and doomed. Who are they. O
Messenger of Allah?” He said,
“ The one who lets his garment trail below his
ankles, the one who remind people of his
charity, and the one who sells his goods by
means of making false oaths.”

among you? They said, „ Of course, O

Those who spread malicious gossip,

32. Avoid Suspicion
“Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the
falsest of speech.”
“Beware of suspicion, for speaking on the
basis of suspicion is the worst kind of lie. Do
not seek out one another‟s faults, do not spy
on one another, do not compete with one
another, do not envy one another, do not
hate one another, and do not turn away from
one another. O servants of Allah, be
brothers.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

33. HADITH QUDSI
“When Allah loves one of his servants, He calls Jibril „
May peace be upon him‟ and tells him: „I love so-and-
so, so love him.‟ Then jibril will love him, and will
proclaim to the inhabitants of heaven: „Allah loves so-
and-so, so love him.‟So the inhabitants of heaven will
love him too, and he will be well accepted by the
inhabitants of the earth. If Allah hates one of His
servants, He calls Jibril and tells him: „I hate so-and-
so so hate him.‟ Then Jibril will hate him and will
proclaim to the inhabitants of heaven, „Allah hates so-
and-so, so hate him.‟ Then the inhabitants of heaven
will hate him, and he will be detested by the
inhabitants of the earth.” (Muslim)
