UAPVP launched many schemes available for different segments of the society including EWS, LIG, MIG, BPL and HIG categories. UPAVP the development agency of Uttar Pradesh know as Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad is going to implement the government housing mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. About 20,000 houses will be constructed in the state. On the construction of housing units, the UPAVP will spend about Rs. 3,000 Crore and the implementation work will be started once it get the approval from the government. The comprehensive plan for Fiscal year 2017-18 has been prepared by the agency and the houses units in these projects will be constructed under UP government Vrindavan & Awadh Vihar Yojana. Under PMAY UP, about 2,000 houses have been registered by the government and creating further plan for the scheme, the UPAVP is planning to open the registrations for additional 3,000 houses.

5. DDA Housing Scheme 2016
• DDA 2016-17 Housing Scheme is a much awaited housing
scheme announced on 18 November 2016 under which the
authority is offering 13,148 housing units for Janta, EHS,
LIG, MIG and HIG categories in different areas of the capital
city.
• The authority is offering flats in the locations of :
Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Dwarka, Pitampura, Sukhdev Vihar,
Narela, Rohini, Jahangirpuri, Loknayakpuram, Dilshad Garden,
Paschim Vihar, Bindapur and Mukherjee Nagar.

6. AAM AADMI PARTY
– Exemption of House Tax
The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party has vowed to abolish all residential taxes
in Delhi and it will also waive off all the pending arrears of house tax.
– Corruption free MCD
Stressing upon the need of a corruption-free MCD, Aam Aadmi Party has promised
to eradicate corruption from MCD.
– Clean Delhi
The party has promised to completely clean the garbage from Delhi within a year
and for that, it will deploy mechanised cleaning process. In a big promise, AAP
promised that the landfills will be halved by 2018 and will be finished by 2019 using
latest technology and methods.
– Welfare of Sanitation Workers
Aam Aadmi Party has vowed to regularise the contractual Sanitation workers so
that they can enjoy the facilities as by the permanent workers. It has also promised
that the salary of these workers will be transferred to their bank accounts by the
7th of every month.
– Education for every child
AAP has also promised to convert the MCD schools into high-quality institutes and
provide education to all the students. The party has also promised the appointment
of more school teachers to ensure there is no shortfall. To improve the quality of
education the party also plans to provide training to the teachers.

7. BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY
– BJP, who is already in power for 10 years in MCD, have promised a
“transparent and corruption-free” rule.
– This time, the party is promising the regularisation of the temporary
sanitation workers.
– Digitalisation of citizen services, putting pressure on the Delhi government
for regularisation of unauthorised colonies.
– The pary is offering a Rs-10 lakh insurance cover for the students in the
MCD schools, health cards for citizens, open gymnasiums, scrapping factory
licences, promoting enterprises run by women under the Centre’s Startup
India scheme, special arrangements to address the problems faced by the
people of north-east in the city.
– For autorickshaw and taxi stands, the party is offering restrooms for drivers
and issuance of licences to hawkers and street vendors under the Street
Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act,
2014.
