Redwood was used extensively in the house, which
features 16inch pillars, beamed ceilings, and multiple
large windows, including a number of skylights.

JAMESTOWN, R.I. — Inspired by 16thcentury Japanese country houses, Charles
and Teresa Ritter's home at 204 Intrepid Lane in East Passage Estates was custom
built in 1989 with a design by Haiku Houses of California.
