• That horse riding and the leading of a horse is
permitted on made and unmade roads, fire
and maintenance tracks and on recreational
trails (marked on a map and identified as
available for use by horse riders.)
• That where horse riders, carriage drivers or
visitors leading a horse, may wish to apply for
riding off formed roads, tracks and trails that
an application is made and given
consideration for undertaking by permit
• That permits are available for groups of 20 or
more horse riders, carriage drivers or led
horses, for special events, historical
enactments or other identified purpose
• That horse carriage drivers may drive on
formed roads and tracks where vehicles are
permitted.
• That permits are available for camping
overnight with horses at permitted locations

riding for 20 years and horses are my
passion’ or “I live near the park and
would like to see more access for
many more types of recreation,
including horse riding”
