In this billboard magazine there are several sections such as a content page, the
recent top 100 music chart, adverts ,the billboard credits, articles on Apple, a
universal music advert. This issue of Billboard contains many pages of
congratulations. There are many articles about the band U2, the girl group K-pop
shock death of 2 members in a crash, Frank Ocean, a new Apple reveal, a recent A
cappella band called Pentatonix, an interview with Tom Poleman and John Sykes
the co-producers of iHeartRadio, articles about the band ‘Deadmau5’ and a
interview with Rita Ora in the new film 50 shades of grey. There are pages
promoting music festivals and concerts. There is a large article on the new
Norwegian electronic producer Kygo. The magazine has a section called 7days on
the Scene, which contains many pictures of celebrity’s such as Miley Cyrus and
Britney Spears and information about a Versus Versace Party. There a 2 pages
which contain great new books that are ‘Rockin’ Reads’. Billboard do not only
music based articles but also fashion, there are pages on the new upcoming
trends and where to purchase them. It also covers how to get celebrity looks
with simple high street make up. There is also a 5 page interview with the
celebrity’s from the American ‘The Voice’, such as Adam Levine and Pharrel
Williams. A section of the magazine is for the 40 under 40 power players. The
new Chris Brown album X is reviewed and received 3.5 star and the Bulletproof
Picasso by Train with a 4 star review plus the article goes on to mention the new
reviewed singles. This music magazine also contains a Market Watch ‘ A weekly
national music sales report’ showing weekly sales units and album sales. Near to
the end of this magazine it give a top 100 ranking best artist chart with Maroon 5
with 1st next it gives a top 50 songs for many different genres.
