Real Estate Warrants
• Component prepares the warrant application in accordance with
  DHS Instruction 119-02-002
• DHS Warrants Program Manager Review
   – If the warrant application is incomplete or deficient, it is sent back to
     the Component for completion and resubmission
   – A completed application is sent for Review Board approval
• Review Board comprising of DHS Warrants Program Manager, DHS
  Director of Real Property and Director of DHS/ALM reviews and
  approves, the completed warrant application and forwards for
  CAO’s signature approval
• CAO approves the warrant application
• A certificate of appointment is issues by the CAO’s office and
  transmitted to the Components. The warrant is now complete.
