2. A brief history of the beginning of the
Internet
The history of the internet dates back to the late 1950s when the
computer scientists and engineer began building and interconnecting
computer networks.
The internet protocol suite, which is the set of rules used to
communicate between networks and devices on the internet arose
from research and development in the USA with the international
collaboration with the United Kingdom and France.
The first successful transmission occurred in October 1969 over the
ARPANET (ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY NETWORK).
Since then the internet has undergone significant changes and has
become an integral part of our daily lives.
