Alternative Voltage AC Modules Resonant test systems are designed for testing of high capacitive
objects, and conditioning and proof testing of SF6 gas insulated equipment especially after installation in
the field. Meet the requirement of IEC standard and other country standard.
MAIN FEATURE
□ Can be run only series resonant mode or single module mode (short circuit other
module(s)).
□ High Q value, low partial discharge level.
□ Require a stand-along voltage divider for output voltage measurement.
□ Require a preload capacitance (normally the voltage measurement divider) to achieve full
rate voltage.
□ Are available in a single range (if only one module is provided). For modules with
multiple cascaded modules, external high voltage bus bars can be purchased which
effectively extend the tuning range of the system.
□ Can be provided with rated output voltage levels of up to 2400kV.

SYSTEM COMPONENT:
1). Coupling Capacitor & HV Filter & Capacitance Voltage Divider
APPLICATION
HCC series coupling capacitors are used as resonant system base load, separation of PD signals from the high
voltage, measuring AC voltages and attenuating interferences from HV side(together with a HV inductance).
MAIN FEATURE

█ Waveform deviation: <3%
█ Noise level: < 70 dB (4 meters distance)
█ Very low partial discharge level
HV FILTER - HVF
By adding an inductance to the coupling capacitor, they form the HV filter HVF, which attenuates interferences
coming from the HV reactor of resonant system or transformer side.
The HV filter inductance is connected between the reactor or transformer and coupling capacitor or between two
coupling capacitors.
