2. INTRODUCTION
• We believe that the High Quality Machine
Translation is achievable in the field of non-
belletristic translations.
• We have developed mathematical model for
simulation of human ability to express his
thoughts or events in form of text in one
language or another.
• It took more than 10 years of research in the
field of computer text processing and related
areas.

3. PROTOTYPE
• We have developed the complex of software
and prototype which provides with translations
from English to Russian.
• It is limited to topics about computers and
software.
• Our translations are higher in quality than
translations of leaders in this field.
• Access to prototype could be

4. PROPOSAL
• We propose the "High Quality Machine
Translation Project".
• As a result of this project we see a highly
profitable business which provides translations
from/to 11 most popular languages (110
language pairs).
• Non-belletristic texts.
• Quality of translation not worse than human
translator of medium qualification.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
5. MARKET
• According to “Common Sense Advisory” the
market of outsourced language services was
worth US $33.5 billion in 2012 with annual
growth 13.5%.
• This market is basically a corporate one.
• The budget of EU for translation is more than
1.2 billion euro per year.
• According to company "Language Weaver“ (now
part of SDL plc) the “untapped” market in size of
US $67.5 billion per year possible if:

6. MARKET (cont-d)
o the cost of translation is 0.01 cent per 1 word
o high enough quality
• This "untapped" market rises because a
number of individuals will get access to quality
translation and the mass translation of
sites, blogs, chats etc. will be occurred.
• Similar estimations of future market gives
TAUS (Translation Automaton User Society) -
70 billion euro/year.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
7. TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience of our Project is:
• A customer which can spend $2 for translation
of his Internet site
• People that have to translate a lot and can sign
for service for $10 per month or $100 per year.
• Professionals that can use a Computer
Assisted Translation (CAT) Tools developed by
us for their needs and can afford to spend
$250 per year.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
8. MONETIZATION
We would offer 5 products:
1. Free translation of limited amount of words (300
words – 1 page);
2. One time paid translation $2 up to 6 pages;
3. Subscription for translation - $10 per month, $100
per year;
4. Lease of professional computer tools for
translation (CAT) - $25 per month, $250 per year;
5. Corporate solution (installation on customer
server with regular updates and support)
Prices are close to break open "untapped"
market.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
9. FINANCIALS
• 0.1% conversion rate for Eng./Russian pair (i.e.
from 1000 people used free translation, 1 will
use paid service).
• 1% conv. rate for other pairs (higher payment
discipline of customers).
• Gradual increase of number of visitors using
free service up to 7.5 million per month at the
end of 3-rd year for one language pair (present
figure for PROMT site: www.translate.ru).
• Profit before taxes after 3-rd year will be $14
million with non-linear increase up to $190+
million after 5-th year.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
10. SCOPE OF WORK
• There are about 8 thousand of
scientific, technical and common use subject
areas in one language.
• 1.5 thousand are of high demand.
• For 11 languages we have 200+ thousand
Units (1 Unit = 1 subject area+ 1 translation
direction).
• For each Unit we need high quality parallel
corpora as a basis for teaching translator
engine.
• These parallel corpora are the texts translated
by human specialists/translators.M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
11. SCOPE OF WORK (cont-d)
• To attract them to cooperate in engine teaching
we choose the scheme of motivated
crowdsourcing.
• Each person who shared his knowledge, time
and corpora with our engine will get stock of
our company with great discount (95%) plus
50% of income came from translation where
his data are used.
• We plan to mobilize up to 150 thousand people
from all over the world.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
12. TECHNOLOGY.
• Technically crowdsoursing activity will be
organized on the base of Open Source Course
Management System (www.moodle.org).
• The input of each participant will be determined
by simple accounting system.
• All programs will form the cloud platform
working as SaaS.
• Computer capacity will be from Amazon Cloud
Service or similar providers.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
13. IMPLEMENTATION STEPS
1. Prototype will be finalized and in 6 month the
Alfa version will start to test.
2. After Alfa the teaching activity will start with
attracted collaborators from crowdsourcing
society to expand areas of translator.
3. At the same time will start work with one of
agencies or investment funds to form joint-
stock company with 10 million shares (50% of
them are preferred) with US $5 each. All
issues regarding shares, prices etc. are
discussible.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
14. IMPLEMENTATION STEPS
(cont-d)
4. 20% (2 million preferred shares) will go to
corporate clients.
5. We plan distribute shares till the end of 2 year.
6. 30% or 3 million preferred shares will go to
collaborators.
7. Starting from the second part of 2 year we plan
to expand our activity by incorporating
collaborators from other language pairs
(Eng./Spanish, Eng./German etc.).
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
15. IMPLEMENTATION STEPS
(cont-d)
8. Funding from shares selling will go to support
expansion.
9. We plan to start teach translator engine to all
110 directions at the end of 2 year.
10. Translation to/from 11 languages, 1500+
subject areas will be achieved by the end of 3-
rd year.
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
16. INVESTMENTS
• Investments necessary - US $900 thousand.
• NPV = $89,576,324
o Income after tax was discounted. Income tax
- 30%;
o Discount rate - 15% per year;
• IRR = 282%
M.Dyussekenev, N.Sakipov, A.Vikhnin
17. KILLER-FEATURES OF
THE PROJECT
1. Unattainable quality of translation.
2. Unprecedented scope of covered areas.
3. Low price for end user.
