This document contains questions for a teacher trainee about the concepts of reading, including: defining reading; completing a chart contrasting coherence and cohesion; discussing whether the reader's role is passive or active; identifying something that can make a text difficult and why; and explaining why it's important for readers and writers to have things in common. The trainee is asked to answer the questions, prove their understanding, and provide any comments on how their conception of reading may have changed after reviewing the text.
