BITOTIN DEFICIENCY
• This is a rare nutritional disorder which can
become serious ,even fatal ,if allowed to
progress untreated. It can occur in people of
any age, ancestry, or gender. BIOTIN is part of
the B vitamin family.
BIOTIN DEFICENCY
• This defiency is quite rare, however, there was
a brief spike in the number of cases when it
became popular for body builders to
consume raw eggs.
• One of the protein found in raw egg white bid
vitamin B7 and make it difficult for the body to
use leading to a deficiency.
BIOTIN DEFICIENCY
• Cooking egg white makes this protein inactive
• Mild biotin deficiency is also found in about
half of all pregnant woman due to a higher
use of vitamin B7 in their bodies and
supplements are recommended for such
woman by the world health organization.
BIOTIN DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS
The symptoms of this disease includes
1) The thinning of the hair
2) Red scalish rash around the eye,nose and
mouth
3) Depression
4) Hallucination
5) Tingling in the arms and legs
