What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
   constructing this product?
Photoshop
One of the first things we were taught was how to use Adobe
                         Photoshop.

Clone stamp tool – I used this the most of all the tools on
Photoshop. With this I could ‘clone’ different areas i.e. If there
was something in the background which I wanted to get rid of I
could clone some empty background over the imperfection. It
was a great tool for getting rid of stray hairs on my model,
                       unwanted background etc.

Spot healing brush – This tool was used to get rid of any skin
imperfections on my model, I found it also came in handy when i
wanted to smooth out certain areas of background or any other
                       imperfections in my pictures.
Other tools I used included:
Magic
wand tool Lasso Tool
InDesign

I was also taught how to use adobe InDesign, another programme used for
construction of my magazine. I found this a lot easier to use than Photoshop and
enjoyed my experience of using it. I used tools such as:

The text tool to write my text
                 The line tool
The shape tool to create different shapes

I felt Indesign was a lot quicker to use than Photoshop for the design of my
magazine and was far more efficient, I had the layout set out and the tools are not
hard to use.
Blogger

Prior to starting media I had no experience in blogging and did not even
know how to use a blog, so this was a big learning process for me. At
first I did not like blogging but soon got used to it as I became more
comfortable with it. I learnt how to upload written posts to my blog, as
well as adding pictures, sound clips and videos. The hardest part was
learning how to design my blog, how to add my name to my blog and
when people viewed my blog, what I wanted them and did not want
them too see. I struggled with things such as adding labels to my blog
and changing the date an times of thing so that everything on my blog
was in chronological order but I soon overcame this with help from my
peers and teachers.
Photography and Webcam
The photos for my magazine were a main part of
constructing it so the photography had to be
important. Once again I had no prior knowledge of
photography or different angles which I could use, I
learnt this through trial and error and being taught
some key things. I learnt different angles and I used
a SLR camera to take my photos. I had to learn how
to use the camera through experimenting with it and
 feel I done this well

I also used my own Logitech webcam for the recording
of my voice for my Blog, I had knowledge of how to
use this and it came in very helpful when doing my
  evaluation questions.
