Responsibilities
 Ensuring excellent and quality care is provided to all clients when needed.
 Overseeing the day to day running of the Wellness center particularly counseling of clients
and wholesome nursing roles.
 Ensuring all clients right is adhered to at the center i,e right to information , right to accept
or reject services. Right to confidentiality and privacy and right to considerate, respectful
and safe care ,

 Working closely with the in charges of the health facilities for effective linkages and
referrals of the clients to respective care places.
 Preparing regular progress management reports for the counseling department
 Advising and providing sexual & reproductive health services to the clients.
 Maintaining good quality clinic data and adequate commodities consumption records,
calculating consumption and making requisitions on time to avoid stock-outs
 Collecting client data and storing them appropriately to ensure confidentiality is
maintained and be directly responsible for ensuring that all the required national reporting
tools are correctly filled and submitted on time to the SHRIOs (Sub county Health Records
and Information Officers)
 Documenting lessons learnt and challenges to inform program decision.

POSITION; NURSE/MIDWIFE
Responsibility
 Oversee the day today management and running of wards by providing holistic nursing
care .
 Visit the elderly clients in their respective homesteads and provide them with care such
as help them ambulate and change their catheters and turning them for those who are
bed ridden
 Oversees the preparation of budgets for specific actions including procurement of
commodities where applicable under direct supervision by the position.
 Prepare regular progress management reports.
 Develop appropriate strategies for networking and collaboration with government and
non-governmental partners involved in harm reduction initiatives and enhance healthy
practices.
 Participate in administering of immunization during various immunization campaigns
organized by the Ministry of Health.
 Conducting normal deliveries, referring complicated cases that require surgical or
advanced management and follow up post natal clients to ensure safe peuperium good
care of the newborn and proper uptake of immunization to the new born .
 Participation in community based outreaches to deliver essential health services to the
community where health care areas not within reach.
 Provision of health talks every morning to all clients who visit the health centre this is
to ensure healthy practices in the community so as to attain good health.
 Provide care as per the instructions given by the doctor or the doctor’s assistants.
 Observe all procedures as per the standard operation procedure guidelines and maintain
infection prevention at all times
