3. Introduction:-
The solar energy is the most capable
of the alternative energy sources.
Solar energy is the energy which is
coming from sun in the form of solar
radiations in infinite amount.
4. The solar energy is absorbed by the
working fluid and transferred to the
storage tank either by natural or
forced circulation
Heat pipes are found to provide an
alternative solution to the above
problems.
5. Concept of heat pipe :-
The components of a typical cylindrical wicked
heat pipe are copper tube with end sealed, wick
structure. It has three main sections evaporator,
adiabatic and the condenser sections.

8. CONCEPT OF NANO FLUDE :-
Nanofluids are a new class of
advanced heat-transfer fluids
engineered by dispersing
nanoparticles smaller than 100
nm (nanometer) in diameter in
conventional heat transfer fluids.
Increased thermal conductivity
(TC)at low nanoparticle
concentrations

Innovation of new heat transfer
enhancement techniques.
Use of new efficient, minimum global
warming potential and eco friendly
fluids and refrigerants.
Measure and predict the transport
properties (thermal conductivity and
viscosity) of nanofluid.
Develop nanofluids that are
environmental friendly and wear
resistant.
10. Advantages Of Heat Pipes:-
May reduce or eliminate the need for
reheat.
Requires no mechanical and electrical
input.
Are virtually maintenance free.
Are environmentally safe.
