2. INTRODUCTION
When it comes to eating healthy food, some people may find it
challenging. Between unhealthy temptations, laziness and all
those confusing media messages
3. WHAT AM I ALLERGIC TO
For me, these problems become more challenging because I
also have food allergies to deal with.
For the record, I am anaphylactic to eggs, all nuts (except
almonds), and the entire legume family (beans, lentils, peas)
4. Overall, it’s not really that bad, in fact I might even be healthier
because of them, it’s just a little tough sometimes
5. GRAINS
When it comes to grains, I can’t just go to any bakery and pick up whatever I
want. I need to make them at home and use a substance called egg
replacer.
Noodles and rice are just fine, I have them all the time
Cereal is harder. Nothing with nuts or fancy sprouted grains, but Fruit Loops
are awesome and a great snack!
6. MEATS
Because of my allergies, I can’t be a vegetarian because all of
the quick proteins are going to make me puke my guts out,
break out in hives and possibly make me stop breathing.
So that means that 90% of my proteins come from meat.
7. FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
Unlike lots of people I really like fruits and
vegetables, and always get my 10+
servings a day.
tomatoes
Cucumber
Lettuce
Olives
Nectarines, when they are around
Watermelon
Peaches
Carrots
Avocado
Cherries
Oranges
Radishes
Apples
The list could go on and on
8. DAIRY
For dairy I have cheese with my dad’s homemade pizza, I have
milk with my tea, and when my grandma makes ice cream, I can
have that to.
