This document outlines a healthcare information system project built using Bash scripting. The project aims to create a computer system that allows doctors and healthcare workers to easily keep track of patient information and appointments. The Bash script handles patient record management, appointment scheduling, and storing doctor information through a command-line interface. It was tested on a Unix-like system and provides basic but efficient healthcare information management through an easy to use interface, though it has limitations like a lack of persistent data storage and more advanced features. Future work could integrate a database and improve the user interface.
