It is an undoubted thing that IBS i.e. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a frustrating syndrome. But there are several
measures that you can take to avoid this complexity and still live the life in carefree manner. If you follow
proper diet and maintain equilibrium in diet chart then, world of difference will be observed in overall health
within short span of time.

Different Reasons behind IBS:

     •    Brain-gut signal problems
     •    GI motor problems
     •    Hypersensitivity
     •    Mental health problems
     •    Bacterial gastroenteritis

Gastrointestinal stimulants and gastrointestinal irritants fats are two groups of foods to avoid with IBS because it can
leave disastrous impact on an individual’s health. Well! It is nowhere written that if you are eating an ideal IBS diet
then, your taste buds will be starved or you will have to compromise with your food in any way. You can still have the
mouth watering and tangy food, all you require to take care is that you are eating healthy food and the food
consumption must be done in an intelligent way.


Psychologically, different foods like caffeine’s or fats have an effect on the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in

different ways and are known as IBS triggers. Nevertheless, this does not implicate that the food has to be
