An electromagnetic field is a physical field produced by electrically charged objects that affects other charged objects within it. Exposure to electromagnetic fields can cause headaches, anxiety, fatigue and other symptoms in the general population. While some studies have looked at links between electromagnetic fields and cancer or pregnancy outcomes, the evidence remains controversial and inconclusive. Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is an unproven concept with little scientific evidence to support that electromagnetic fields cause consistent reactions in sensitive individuals.
