Iron Road Presentation to Tumby Bay & Districts Community Consultative GroupIron_Road_Limited
Iron Road recently introduced the Central Eyre Iron Project to the Tumby Bay & Districts Community Consultative Group. The group is a community group formed to represent the Tumby Bay and Districts region with the purpose of consulting with companies such as Iron Road on all mining and development proposals for the region. Iron Road’s General Manager, Larry Ingle, presented to the group, covering in detail all aspects of the project including the proposed mine, processing plant, infrastructure/utilities corridor and port. Additional key elements of the project, such as the Environment and Community Engagement, were also included in the presentation. There was an opportunity for the group to ask questions after the presentation followed by questions from the public gallery. A wide variety of questions were asked including; export management, corridor landowner opportunities, project risks such as power upgrade, environmental impacts and social issues and how these might be managed.
Iron Road would like to thank the Tumby Bay & Districts Community Consultative Group for the invitation to present and look forward to working together with that group in the future.
