A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Then when you say: Mischief Mangled, it vanishes.
23. Meet the Characters 3 Dobby Dobby used to work for the Malfoys in the Malfoy Manor. He was freed by Harry Potter after a clever trick. Now, he works in the Hogwarts kitchen for Albus Dumbledore, although he occasionally stops to help Harry Potter in whatever he needs to do. Kreacher The elf that is now Harry’s after Sirius. He is constantly trying to help the Death Eaters in any way. He is interrogated in Book 7 about the locket.
24. Meet the Characters 3 Ollivander (Wand Maker) Dolores Umbridge Ollivander is briefly mentioned in the Philospher’s Stone and then he becomes somewhat major in the deathly hallows after Voldermort interrogates him on the twin cores and locks him together with Luna Lovegood. Dolores caused quite a racket in Order of the Phoenix. She was sent to Hogwarts on the Ministry’s orders, and then she completely dominated the school. In Book 7, she interrogated Muggle-bloods. However J.K.Rowling says she was arrested in the end, so all’s well that end’s well.
25. Meet the Characters 3 Lupin (Moony) James and Lily Potter Peter Pettigrew Harry Potter’s parents. They died in Godric’s Hallow where James tried to protect Lily but they both died anyway. The killing curse then rebounded on Voldemort when he attacked Harry. Once a teacher at Hogwarts, he has been a werewolf ever since he was bitten by FennirGreyback. He is a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and is now spy for the Order. He drinks the Wolfsbane Potion every full moon too avoid going savage. A traitor to the order of the phoenix. Indebted to Harry because he saved Peter’s life. The Dark Lord calls him Wormatail. Always seeks the protection of the stronger.
26. Arguments and Verdicts There, you’ve heard the story and seen the characters. So what do you think? If you have nothing to say, then we’ll leave it like that. If you are unsure about something or you wonder what would happen in the future, well, you’re not alone. MuggleNet.com spends everyday discussing about the mysteries, jokes and mistakes of the Harry potter series. For Example, before the movie there was an argument whether Dumbledore was dead(shown on next slide).
27. The Arguments Dumbledore is dead Dumbledore’s spell on Harry Potter disappeared, signifying that he is dead. Dumbledore’s pet, the phoenix left the school, signifying that like the phoenix, Dumbledore was gone. Dumbledore’s office recognised a new headmaster signifying that he is gone Dumbledore is alive Dumbledore used a pleasant tone when talking to the Death Eaters showing that he had something up his sleeve. Dumbledore’s Phoenix didn’t come and help him, showing that he was not in any danger The killing curse Snape did not have the symptoms of a killing curse, showing that it is fake.
28. The Verdict Both Arguments were very strong, and it would have been left undecided if J.K.Rowling hadn’t said that he was definitely dead. That ended the argument. Everyone believed her. But to be honest, what do you think?
29. Tidbits: Dumbledore’s family Dumbledore mother was Kendra and he had a sister, Ariana, and a brother, Aberforth. Then, one summer, Gridelward, later a wizard that Dumbledore battled with, met with Dumbledore, and they discovered the Deathly Hallows. Then, there was a fight provoked form Grindelward, and Ariana was killed among the spells.
30. After the End? ‘I think that’s them Al’ said Ginny suddenly. A group of 4 people emerged from the mist standing alongside the very last carridge. Their faces only came into focus when Harry, Ginny, Lily and Albus had drawn right up to them. ‘Hi’ said Albus, looking immensely relieved Rose who was already wearing her brand new Hogwarts robes, beamed at him. ‘Parked alright then?’ Ron asked Harry.’I did. Hermione didn’t believe I could pass a Muggle driving test, did you? She thought I had to Confound the examiner.’ Draco Malfoy was standing there with his wife and son, a dark coat buttoned up to his throat. His hair was receding somewhat, which emphasised the pointed chin. The new boy resembled Draco as much as Albus resembled Harry. Draco caught sight of Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny staring at him, nodded curtly and turned away again.
31. After the End? What you saw just now was only a glimpse of Harry’s future. As you can see, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny have settled well. But what happened to the others? You ask. Well, Kingsley Shacklebolt is now minister, Neville is a professor in Hogwarts, Luna continues the Quibbler, and the others are not mentioned or dead. Harry’s occupation is Head Auror. Ron helps George in his joke shop. Hermione works in the Ministry in the Magical Law Enforcement.
32. The one who possesses all 3 Hallows will become the master of death. Who will it be?
