The main objective of this study is to explore how podcasting can be implemented in teaching English as a Second Language as a supportive technological tool and thus contribute to the development of positive attitudes and beliefs of the learners. To this aim, the field experiment research was conducted. The study was carried out in a total of 28 pupils of the first grade of high school at an educational institution on Rhodes, Greece in February 2018. The students were assigned into the experimental group (15 students) and the control group (13 students). The results of the research have shown a positive change in students’ attitudes and beliefs, though no statistically significant difference has arisen regarding the students’ interest in the course, their self-confidence in English, the role of gender in learning English and the difficulties students come across when studying English. Similarly, no significant change has occurred regarding the usefulness of English, the importance of the English accent and the knowledge of another foreign language as a contributing factor to learning English more easily. Finally, a negative change was found regarding difficulties in oral communication in English.

Development of a new mindset for eLearning Pedagogy: for the Teacher and the ...eraser Juan José Calderón
Development of a new mindset for eLearning Pedagogy: for the Teacher and the Learner.
Abstract
Teaching, like learning, involves a personal journey. This researched narrative records the role of technology integration in one instructor’s teaching practice, and examines how literature in the field accounts for ways eLearning technologies have kept the author and her students engaged in the process of learning. Dr. Tara Ashok of the University of Massachusetts Boston chronicles the personal eLearning tool kit she has selected for effective delivery of contents in different teaching formats. She posits the importance of developing a new mindset to adapt to emerging technologies and examines the literature and her own experiences suggesting how and why, eLearning pedagogy must include a focus on the development of a flexible / growth mindset.

I have been attached by so many teachers in my
life, but only a few who really stand out and
can be seen as inspiration. There are only a few teachers who
inspired me to teach. Those who can touch me for that I can
easily adapt and interact.
Having been educated means that having the power to
influence thought and that is astounded. One of the reason, I
would like to become an extraordinary teacher not just a
teacher. Being a teacher who can motivate and push the
students to aim for future, being responsible and
independent within self, broaden the knowledge and having
self-discipline. Those I believe the four aspects can lead my
students to succeed.

As a Science teacher, I would encourage students
to do problem solving, have the ability to reason,
think critically, use the knowledge gained to solve problems,
because I think that solving the problem would be an excellent
way to educate my students. I also believe students should
master the concepts before going into the draft or moving to
the next level.
In order to learn more effectively, in addition to methods such
as lectures and discussion, this is preceded by several open-
ended questions or evidence as argument. And then there are
also a variety of methods, which should be used in the
classroom such as cooperative learning, project-based
learning, problem-based learning, or thematic learning
integrated with other subjects.

I have always tried the best methods to make
the process of learning to be an active, interactive and fun. If
learning process enjoys the students, then the focus will be
obtained. As in the lab, not only doing the experiment but I
try to conduct it as effective as I could in order to create the
lab becoming a fun environment for them to apply the
knowledge.
Apart from that, I have also applied the educational games
and connected the learning process with the high tech, as I
believe that most of the students are well-aware of the high
technology knowledge.
8. h o m e
Aside from being a manager, a teacher too must
have the power to lead. And as a leader, leading the students
by giving them the good example is a way to be done.
Consequently, I have to be consistent in doing so, both outside
and inside the classroom.
