Toiminnallinen kielenopetus korostaa kielen käyttöä kommunikaation välineenä. Opetuksessa hyödynnetään erilaisia tehtäviä ja tilanteita, joissa opiskelijat voivat käyttää kieltä autenttisesti. Tavoitteena on kehittää opiskelijoiden kielitaitoa ja valmiuksia käyttää kieltä erilaisissa tilanteissa.

Tekemällä ja tutkimalla oppiminen
Yhteistoiminnallinen tiedon rakentelu
Jakaminen ja julkaiseminen

5. Toimintakulttuuri OPS:ssa
• Aikuisten tapa toimia välittyy oppilaille, jotka omaksuvat
kouluyhteisön arvoja, asenteita ja tapoja. Myös
vuorovaikutuksen ja kielenkäytön mallit sekä
sukupuoliroolit siirtyvät oppilaille.
• Toimintakulttuuriin kehittämisen perusedellytys on avoin,
vuorovaikutteinen, luottamusta rakentava ja kaikkia
yhteisön jäseniä osallistava keskustelu.
• Oppiva yhteisö kehittyy dialogin avulla. Yhdessä
tekeminen ja osallisuuden kokemukset vahvistavat
yhteisöä.
25.4.2014 Tampere Tiina Sarisalmi
6. Toimintakulttuuri ja kv OPS:ssa
• Yhteydet eri maissa toimivien koulujen kanssa lisäävät
globalisoituneessa maailmassa toimimisen taitoja. Ne
tuovat koulutyöhön herätteitä toimia yhdenvertaisuuden,
ihmisoikeuksien ja rauhan edistämiseksi.
• Hyvin toimivat oppimisympäristöt edistävät
vuorovaikutusta ja osallistumista sekä yhteisöllistä tiedon
rakentamista. Ne myös mahdollistavat yhteistyön koulun
ulkopuolisten yhteisöjen tai asiantuntijoiden kanssa.
• Paikkaan ja aikaan sitomaton oppiminen ja osaaminen
tehdään mahdolliseksi tarkoituksenmukaisella tavalla
oppimisympäristöjen kehittämisessä
25.4.2014 Tampere Tiina Sarisalmi
7. Opetuksen eheyttäminen ja kv OPS:ssa
• Paikallisessa opetussuunnitelmassa ja vuosisuunnitelmassa
päätetään opetuksen eheyttämistavoista sekä monialaisten
oppimiskokonaisuuksien sisällöistä ja toteuttamistavoista.
Tällöin tulee huolehtia siitä, että kaikkien oppilaiden
opintoihin sisältyy vähintään yksi monialainen
oppimiskokonaisuus lukuvuodessa
• Oppilaiden osallistuminen suunnitteluun on välttämätöntä.
• Tavoitteena on esim. antaa tilaa älylliselle uteliaisuudelle,
elämyksille ja luovuudelle sekä haastaa monenlaisiin
vuorovaikutus ja kielenkäyttötilanteisiin
25.4.2014 Tampere Tiina Sarisalmi
8. Kysymyksiä:
• Riittääkö uusi OPS koulujen toimintakulttuurin
muuttumiseen?
• Mitä muita työkaluja on?
• Mikä merkitys on hankkeilla?
• Mikä merkitys on kv-suunnitelmalla?
• Mikä merkitys on koulun rehtorilla?
• Mikä merkitys on vuosisuunnitelmalla?
