Hang is a mobile application designed for college students to help coordinate casual hangouts with friends in a more spontaneous way. Unlike calendar apps or messaging apps, Hang provides disappearing notifications to promote spontaneity in making last-minute plans. The founders tested an early version of the app and received positive feedback on improvements to the user interface, but also found issues with consistency across devices and the need to view past plans, showing the importance of user testing.

The end question that leaves everybody wondering is “How the hell did this functionality come here?”. Famous by various other terms like, “Scope creep”, “requirement creep”, refers to unforeseen requests for the addition of features that are not listed in the project scope.

Now, the problem every time was the expectation to offer perfect answers, along with supporting reasons. Although my intuition helped me get through on a few, the part I would struggle most was in offering convincing reasons to support my answers. I felt my supposed intuition had some underlying logic and concepts but I needed to reify those. I needed to have constructs that I could use to easily judge any Design, be it a web page, mobile application UI or even a poster.
