SCENE I
State the most important actions:
Hamlet’s father died a month ago and his ghost
appeared and told Hamlet the true story about his
death or best said, murder. The dead King’s ghost
told Hamlet that Claudius killed him. Hamlet was
so disconcerted because of the early marriage of
his mother and his uncle Claudius, the new King
of Denmark.

SCENE II
State the most important actions:
Hamlet thought that he was going crazy because
he saw his father’s ghost. His mother, his uncle,
Polonius and Ophelia belived that he was in love
with Ophelia because of the letter they find out
where he wrote to Ophelia, but it wasn’t the
cause of his strange behavior. His family invited
to his old friends Rosencrantz and Guildestern
for cheering him up .

SCENE III
 State the most important actions:
Hamlet added a scene to the play they all where
going to see. That was a trap for Claudius. If he
reacted badly they could know that Claudius had
murdered Hamlet’s father. And as he planned,
Claudius reacted badly. Unfortunately in an
accident, Hamlet killed Polonius thinking he was
Claudius. Finally Hamlet was banished to
England with his old friends after having killed
Polonius.

SCENE IV
 State the most important actions:
Leartes, Polonius’ son and Ophelia’s brother,
thought that Claudius had killed his father and
Claudius told him what had really happened. After
that Ophelia died drowned in the river. Meanwhile,
at sea, Hamlet was worried and he found out that
the purpose of Ronsencrantz and Guildestern was
to kill him so he decided to scape and return to
Denmark in another ship with pirates.

astonished tried to kill Hamlet again, this time
with the help of Ophelia’s brother. Claudius
put poison in the sword of Leartes and in
Hamlet’s wine but when the two boys where
almost dead , Claudius drank wine from
Hamlet’s glass without realizing, so nobody
survived.
