Telehealth involves accessing medical care remotely via phone or online. It provides timely and convenient treatment for minor illnesses, reducing costs for both individuals and employers. Telehealth has the potential to save over $300 per year for individuals and over $1,000 for families by reducing doctor's visits, urgent care visits, and ER visits. However, telehealth utilization has been lower than expected due to employees being unfamiliar with the service and reluctant to pay the typical $35-$40 fee. In order to increase telehealth usage, companies should build the doctor visit fee into program costs so employees face no barrier to access, and conduct an ongoing education campaign to increase awareness of the benefits of telehealth.

Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune DiseaseHealth Advances
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

2. Health and Lifestyle Benefits
Health Benefits
The Issue
One of the most challenging issues of our time is affordable and accessible
healthcare. More employers have been forced to restructure their benefit plans,
often reducing benefits, increasing deductibles or shifting to consumer-driven health
plan options. Many offer no insurance benefits at all. That leaves many individuals
uninsured, under insured or in the position of finding the right plan for themselves and
their families.
The Solution
Individuals: HealthPerx™ addresses this challenge by providing individuals and
their families with convenient access to physicians 24/7/365 and significant savings
on prescriptions, dental and vision care as well as access to health advocates,
telephonic counselors, medical travel assistance and much more. Regardless of
existing healthcare coverage, HealthPerx can easily save individuals and their families
thousands of dollars a year in time and money.
Employers: HealthPerx offers businesses an innovative and effective solution that
reduces absenteeism, increases productivity, promotes consumerism and decreases
overall healthcare costs. The high perceived-value can improve acquisition and
retention of employees for minimal cost.

Employers:
How it Works
Quick Facts and ROI
1. Set up your account and complete your health questionnaire online or by phone
Based on a recent analysis of 150,000 medical consults:
2. Request a medical consult
• 91% were successfully treated by phone or video consult
3. A doctor calls you (average wait time: 22 minutes) or schedules a video consult
• 53% of callers would have used PCP @ $100 per visit
4. he doctor discusses symptoms, diagnoses your condition and sends
T
a prescription to your pharmacy, if needed.
• 25% of callers would have used urgent care or specialists @ $153 per visit
• 9% of callers would have used an emergency room @ $900 per visit
• Medical visits would have cost 4 hours of productivity @ $25 an hour
Average Savings
Per Call = $272.25
Actual ROI will depend on cost of benefit package selected and utilization rate.

geographical area.
Imagine the effect on your business if employees called
the doctor first!
“I was at work not feeling well but didn’t
want to leave work. So I decided to
call telemedicine. It was a wonderful
experience! The doctor called me back
within 30 minutes. I spoke with him
for about 15 minutes and he wrote me
a prescription that I was able to pick
up on my way home from work at my
local pharmacy! It was very convenient
Telemedicine saved me money and I
didn’t have to miss time from work.”
– Janice
Problem solved—
no medical consult fees
If a condition cannot be treated by
phone, the physician can advise what to
do and where to go—saving guesswork,
time and money.
Industry Facts
There is already a shortage of
physicians and medical personnel.
The future demand in the number of
yearly primary care physician consults
due to population increase and
expanded coverage will drive the need
for even more physicians, creating a
greater supply-demand gap for the
next 10 years.
