CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Created and implemented inventive scheduling plan of work areas, manpower, equipment and material
throughout construction phase of project regaining 3 month delay in construction start, allowing prototype
school on open time and in budget. Delays were due to late delivery of Contract Documents and issuance of
building permit prior to and design issues during construction.
Identified and resolved design issues on large Retirement Community project with architect and engineer prior
to and during construction saving the owner over $1 million in construction costs and reducing the
construction schedule by 30 days.
Instrumental in growing company from $5 million to $40+ million in annual volume in 3 years by structuring
company policies on PMBOK mythologies and best practices, establishing national accounts for purchasing and
instituting positive subcontractor and vendor relationships.
Coordinated National Assisted Living Facilities “development and construction team” for facilities in markets
where “opening first” was critical in establishing profitability. My team consistently beat the competition. Total
commitment for projects was in excess of $45 million.
Conceived and perfected innovative welding and erection procedure for construction of 3 electrostatic
precipitators, saving over 60% of the man-hours allocated, over $300K and reduced the schedule 1 month.
