iPad in academic settings is a pilot project which started in summer term 2014, organized by eLearning office, Center for Information Technologies, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic.
It continued in winter term 2014, summer 2015 and it is planned for winter 2015 too.
It has been continually revised, updated, deepened and developped.
To support participants, we have created an e-course in Moodle called iPad in Academic Settings with all the information in detail, examples and chance to gain digital badges.
You can read more about it here: http://goo.gl/Z5PCJ1
We offer the workshops also outside the institution. If you are interested in our workshops and would like to organize them at your institution, we will be happy to come. Please contact us at elf@phil.muni.cz.

In this research, we studied the human dimensions of experience and knowledge, confidence, motivation, and fun with regard to four technological dimensions referring to a FabLab environment: 2D and 3D design, tools and machines, prototyping with electronics, and programming. An intensive, two-week training period for high school students in digital fabrication and design was utilized as a testbed to evaluate how the participants modified their perception of the four human dimensions during the training. We identified that prototyping with electronics and programming were the most significant obstacles. In addition, the perception of acquired knowledge and confidence had increased considerably after training except for the programming domain. FabLab trainers can utilize the trainees’ perceptions on different dimensions to emphasize the specific design aspects of the activity in order to achieve the training goals. We also expect that a detailed description of the experiment setup can be useful to other researchers and practitioners while organizing activities at FabLab.
This presentation shares motivations, experiences & lessons-learned from having used the SEMAT Essence in Bsc-level software engineering education. Essence is an OMG-standard developed by the SEMAT initative to help companies and educators to escape from the method prison in which they are easily locked when they attempt to follow software engineering off-the-self-methods. The presentation also highlights the research undertaken by prof. Pekka Abrahamsson's research team in Finland and in Norway.

What to consider when designing and implementing online and distance learning in higher education. Invited Paper presented at Chiang Mai University's eLearning Conference, 25-26 July, 2016
This presentation is a result of an industrial assignment from the User System Interaction program from Stan Ackermans Institute. It is presented by Eveline Brink in September 2014 at Eindhoven Technical University in the Netherlands.
This presentation tells more about what is co-creation, and if co-creation would fit into the company IJsfontein, Amsterdam. The main conclusions are: co-creation is used fairly indiscriminately, it is hard to define it. The author created her own vision about co-creation and suggests to implement co-creation step by step, to a certain extend.
This presentation could be used for other companies that are interested in using co-creation. For more information you can download the report:

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

VIENI E REINVENTALA!
In seguito, saranno sviluppati
nove progetti reali, uno per ogni zona di Milano. Tutto questo, grazie alla collaborazione tra Comune, cittadini, associazioni e aziende private.
Unisciti anche tu! Un nuovo servizio, pubblico e collaborativo, sta nascendo.
