Highlights from Day 1 Samarpan Meditation's Guruma by Kaushik Patolia during the Festival of Consciousness or Chaitanya Mahotsav which is Swami Shivkrupanand's birthday celebrations. #Gurutattva

1. DAY 1 - GURUMA’S DISCOURSE - CM 2021
• Wishing you all belated happy Diwali.
• Started with an inspirational story of a Homeopathic doctor from Calcutta. The doctor
was a person with simple living and high morale. He was living with his wife and a
daughter. His wife used to give him a list of things which were needed for the day, and
He had one rule that he earns only that much money which is needed for that particular
day and after getting enough money for the day he was treating patients for free.
• One day a car broke down in front of his home and there was person with a small girl in
car, so doctor went there and asked that man to come to his home and take rest until
the mechanic arrive. At home Daughter of the doctor and the small girl from a car were
almost the same age and started playing. When asked by doctor to that whether that
girl is his daughter, he came to know that the girl is his niece and due to some medical
problem, they couldn’t have a baby even after so many treatments and 7 years of
marriage. The doctor gave him some medicine, but he refused to take any money as per
his rule because he got enough money for today. That man was very impressed with the
doctor’s ethics. After few years when daughter of the doctor was getting married,
doctor’s wife gave a list of things needed for the marriage. Doctor circled out that things
on paper and totally surrendered to God that you take care of this. Meanwhile one
person came in a car with many gifts and started to put that all stuff in doctor’s house.
When asked upon he came to know that he is the same person from few years back
whose car was breaking down and doctor gave him medicine so they can have a child,
which worked, and they had a daughter afterwards. When he was buying things for his
niece’s marriage, he thought he should buy all stuff for doctor’s daughter as well. He
requested to accept all the gifts. Doctor showed him a paper where he circled out things
for God to take care and how surprisingly he brought the same things for him.!!
• Moral of story is If you keep complete faith, the energy works in that way. Many times,
in our lives as well it happens that we get help from some unknown people when we are
in trouble.

2. • Another incident of Guruma happened in Chhattisgarh – Normally when on the tour,
number of places to visit are predecided, so according to that she has number of saris
and related things in her luggage. On that tour somehow, she has one less sari than
number of programmes she has to attend. She had one extra red blouse in her luggage
so she thought look in to the saris which were gifted to her if she could find some thing
matching which she can wear. Surprisingly she found an sari with an exact shade
matching with the blouse.!!
• Guru energies are always around us, but we do not complete faith and we take
unnecessary tension. We must have to learn to trust completely.
• We humans are so dumb that while travelling in Train, Bus we sleep with full trust of
driver that he will take us to our destination safely but in the same we can’t trust God or
Guru Energies.
• We all are 50% good and 50% evil. What makes a difference is where we are looking at.
We have habit of seeing mistakes and flaws all the time. We should see positive and
good things in all places, persons. You will receive what you are looking at.
• For example when we are watching our favourite show on TV, our eyes are fixed to the
screen and we do other works like eating snacks, drinking tea or managing kids but still
we have full focus on what is going on in the show so it proves that we have the ability
to focus and we should use that ability to focus on positive things. When we do this
positive thing starting to happen around us.
• Story of a Cancer Specialist Doctor – This doctor was so reputed that he was known to
save the cancer patients even from their death bed. So What is the secret here?. When
a patient come to him he do all the tests and give him an date for surgery and then he
ask the patient to sit alone relax and give him a paper and pen and write down that
what they will do after surgery will be successful? Patients open up their feelings like
they will apologize to family members, some says they will spend more time being
happy, some says I will spend more time with family etc. After successful surgery doctor
used give that paper back to the patient reminding that how they should live their life
now.
• Moral is that the death is unpredictable and can come any moment of time, so be in
present, be happy.
• In September Guruma got knee replacement surgery. After surgery they have a person
name Ramu for domestic and household help. Guruma had to take complete rest and
Ramu was doing all the daily work. Ramu was belong to tribal region and during
Navaratri asked to have a leave for few days. Guruma happily gave him permission. This
made Ramu so happy that he was dancing with joy. Guruma became delighted by seeing
him happy. Moral we should feel happy when others are happy. We all know this but
do we practice this? Do we take care of other’s happiness?

3. • We all have experienced that when one person in our home is ill or unhappy, we all feel
the same even if nothing is wrong with us. The reason is the negative energy of that
person makes us fell the same and opposite of this is also true.
• Guruma try her best that even the maid of her house also stays happy.
• Try to observe nature. Observe trees -they independent for their needs still they are
satisfied they give us fruits. Observe birds – they don’t have any facilities still they are
happy and singing in joy. Observe flowers -even if they are cut from their stem and
going to die in few hours still, they give us a fragrance and beautiful colours. If you
observe positivity in nature, you will start connecting with it and becoming one with
nature that will give you a great peace of mind.
• Whatever you want to talk wither good or have some complaint just be calm first try to
be one with nature and then try to discuss things. Everybody will understand you
provided that you are in state of understanding others.
• Answering to many sadhak’s questions – Your family and specially parents have to be
eligible for inviting holy soul as your child. By eligible means you should be calm and
joyful by self not from other people’s effort for making you happy. You happiness should
come from within like flower blossom form within regardless of any effort outside.
• Becoming with nature does not means you stop watching tv, stop reading newspaper
and other form of entertainment but on the contrary you should enjoy and fulfill all your
desire and be satisfied as this is the last life -have full faith for that.
• As we are going to get a Moksha why don’t we keep our faces cheerful and happy
• Kutch had experienced the brutal earthquake in 2002 and it was almost destroyed to
the sand. But after that development of Kutch had gone through the roof and there is a
drastic change we can see between Kutch before 2002 and Kutch after 2002
• Once in lifetime Everybody has experienced that situation take such turn that their life
goes upside down like a earthquake but believe that your tremendous development is
going to happen in life now as you will use your 100% of your skills and that’s when you
grow.
• To be satisfied once daily try to be observe nature, grow plants in your home, twice in a
moth try to visit good places nearby you
• In our Indian cultures we celebrate birth anniversary (Ram Navami, Krishna
Janmashtami etc.) but don’t celebrate death anniversary which symbolize that we know
physical body can die but soul is eternal and we focus on subtle energies rather than
physical one.
• So, on this auspicious day of Swamiji’s birthday lets all make promise to ourselves that
we will connect to Swamiji through medium of subtle body.
• I wish from bottom of my heart that you may all connect with guru energies, connect
and be one with nature, all explore and visit all the places all over the world.
