This is the material that was presented to certain communities that were interested in applying the concepts of Green, Clean, Sustainability, and Resilience in their own communities. It addresses Net Zero Emissions, Zero Waste, Circular Economy, and other relevant topics.
Earthships were born out of the revolutionary mind of Michael Reynolds during the 1970’s. Recently an architecture graduate, Michael began experimenting to find solutions to questions that haunt our society, possibly more so today than anytime before – waste management and affordable housing. Early conceptions surrounded making a ‘brick’ out of aluminum cans. This idea grew into the of concept of what Earthship construction includes today. Earthships are a sustainable building method in current use and application in many countries throughout the world. Scale can be modest, common or large with each home built in the manner of a self-functioning and regulating system.
this presentation is about the green building concept. I have thrown some light on green building concept, its cost facts, why we need green buildings?, scope of green buildings and I have also described about my visit to a green building, about LEED, rating system of LEED, and some features of green buildings.
Basics of green home renovation and new construction, overview of the residential green certification systems, and some things you can do to make your existing home more energy efficient.
This is a detailed presentation that looks at carbon neutral design protocol and compares it to LEED Platinum. The presentation examines the LEED credits for those useful in targeting a low carbon building.
This presentation was given for the Industry 4.0 and Smart cities event, organized by B-Sprouts within the EU Industry Week.
It is the introduction before a world café you can find the results on our blogpost: http://fitmynest.com/2018/02/industry-40-smartcities-iot-cohousing/

A little history of energy efficiency and green building and some of my own work. The verbal part of the presentation talks about how to plan a green building project and look at the building as a system of parts with overlapping function. I also stress in regards to energy, water and material resources that you always do your best design to lower the demand side before you address the supply side. Do More With Less.
Practice- "Just Right Sizing".
This presentation is a basic introduction to the concepts underlying carbon neutral design. It looks at a LEED Platinum building that is also a carbon neutral building for some ideas as to how to achieve this goal.
"Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

We as civil engineers deal with a field which is so diverse in its applications. In this project too we dealt with Environmental, Transportation, Material and other aspects of a project.
The continuous search for more sustainable and economic processed solutions has been an important investigation topic of a broad research community worldwide. The resulting solutions can therefore be adapted by the industry thus leading to a more sustainable society. The building industry is not immune to this reality and huge efforts have been done in order to find alternative sustainable building materials and low technology methods, which result in a more sustainable and affordable construction complemented with the comfort standards required nowadays. The CO2 emissions to the atmosphere, energy and water consumptions are some parameters that have significant impact in this equation. Reusing, opting for green building materials (which must be renewable, local, and abundant), retrofitting, choosing low technology methods and techniques are some practices that have given good results in this context.
The concept of sustainability is not limited to buildings.
As mentioned in the abstract, our LEED Project is situated in Al-Dilam. Below the pictures perfectly depicts the outskirts of this town.
We are a group of professional designers based in the city of Pittsburgh, who are working together to inform, empower and inspire the community and its leaders to further sustainable practices at home, in urban and green spaces, and the collective culture.
Green building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) refers to both a structure and the application of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition.[1] This requires close cooperation of the contractor, the architects, the engineers, and the client at all project stages.[2] The Green Building practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability, and comfort.[3]
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings which was Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. Other certificates system that confirms the sustainability of buildings is the British BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) for buildings and large-scale developments. Currently, World Green Building Council is conducting research on the effects of green buildings on the health and productivity of their users and is working with World Bank to promote Green Buildings in Emerging Markets through EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) Market Transformation Program and certification.[4] There are also other tools such as Green Star in Australia and the Green Building Index (GBI) predominantly used in Malaysia.
Although new technologies are constantly being developed to complement current practices in creating greener structures, the common objective of green buildings is to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment by:
Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources
Protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity
Reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.
