We have a wide variety of raw materials with an African outlook available within the county.
A detailed estimate / specifications can be compiled after identifying type and quality of the
items. Additions could be incorporated to the existing facilities depending on client
preference. This is normally achieved after a thorough site visit and perhaps, a meeting
Promote and execute “econology”;
The local community would benefit alot during and after construction of new lodges within as
most of them are very good at weaving the makuti roofing and also maintaining of the same
37. The images enclosed show environmentally friendly building structure formations that would
not create an imbalance in availability of fodder for the wild including the domestic animals;
likewise the “bandas” have an African look which is attractive to the tourists
There is potential to increase the number of lodges in the area
as part of the current arrangement, if demand is present. An aggressive marketing campaign
both locally and internationally to create awareness and identity
Establish the Wildlife touch farm and a wildlife ranger academy.
A brilliant idea which can also incorporate a “Nature Path” to engage tourists and
ornithologists in walking amongst the wild in a controlled recreated arena.
5) A children’s Play Ground can also be incorporated in the outfit. This included ladders and
slides, swings, short tunnels, sand pits, mini bouncing castle etc
6) Water and sewerage management
Depending on the existing facility and client preference,
1) a borehole (if unavailable) would suffice and a mini water purification plant
incorporated to obtain pure drinking water;
2) solar water heating panels for the abolution block, kitchen and shower use;
3) waste water from shower and wash hand basin re cycled and re pumped into a
storage tank feeding the toilet flushing cistern plumbing;
4) a bio digester to receive raw sewage; the product of which could be used for
irrigation for the flower beds and any landscaping initiative to beautify the facility. This
would make a huge saving in the water and sewerage management
