Gujarati calligraphy is introduced by Shri Amit Kharsani at the Gujarat Literature Festival on December 18, 2016. The document provides examples of Modi script, the precursor to the modern Gujarati script, and showcases various calligraphy tools used for Gujarati writing including brushes, pens, homemade tools from wood and ice cream sticks, and nontraditional tools like medicine droppers. Examples are also given of Gujarati copperplate script and its construction.
