GreenDream is a student-led movement started by 8 IEEE Kerala student branches to address environmental issues caused by industrialization and technology through awareness campaigns, promoting green lifestyles, and supporting renewable energy projects. The movement aims to educate colleges, schools, public and corporations; undertake individual and team actions; and initiate technical projects involving solar energy, waste management, and renewable energy promotion. In its first 4 months, GreenDream involved 700 volunteers and received government recognition for its efforts to raise awareness and a voice in climate change discussions.
