Graphics software can be used to create and manipulate digital images. There are five major categories of graphics software: paint programs for bitmap editing, photo editing programs for pixel-level image manipulation, draw programs suited for vector graphics, CAD programs for computer-aided design, and 3D modeling and animation programs for creating 3D objects and scenes. Each type of software has different tools and purposes for working with digital images, graphics, and design.

when accuracy and flexibility are as
important as coloring and special effects.
 Simply by clicking and dragging in a draw
programs .

8. Photo-editing programs.
 When scanners made it easy to transfer
photographs to the computer at high
resolution,A new class of software was
needed to manipulate these images on
the screen.Photo-editing programs edit
images at the pixels level, it also used to
modify photographes.

9. Computer -aided design programs
 Computer aided design (cad),also called
computer-aided drafting or computer-
aided drawing is the computerized version
of the hand drafting process that used to
be done with the pencil and ruler a
drafting on table.

 You are constantly exposed to elaborate
3-d imaging in movies , television ,and
print ,many of these images are now
created with a special type of graphics
software , called 3-d modeling software,
