My training during the summer internship helped me recognize how the industry functions and how it manages to provide a wide range of services to customers with varied tastes and budgets.
The main purpose of my project is to understand the functioning of a Destination Management Company and how it is able to provide services to the tourists in the other country.
The presentation includes basic introduction to land transportation and introduction to rail, road and hyper loop transport. It also states the advantages and disadvantages of each form of land transport.
The presentation discusses the fundamentals of Intermodal and Multimodal transportation in the context of urban areas. In the era of an epic need for mass transportation facilities, the supportive system also requires its place around. It was delivered during an expert talk on 7th October 2016 at BMCET, Surat.

Pi coins is not launched yet in any exchange 💱 this means it's not swappable, the current pi displaying on coin market cap is the iou version of pi. And you can learn all about that on my previous post.
RIGHT NOW THE ONLY WAY you can sell pi coins is through verified pi merchants. A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges and crypto whales. Looking forward to hold massive quantities of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale or ico offerings, the only way to get my coins is from buying from miners. So a merchant facilitates the transactions between the miners and these exchanges holding pi.
I and my friends has sold more than 6000 pi coins successfully with this method. I will be happy to share the contact of my personal pi merchant. The one i trade with, if you have your own merchant you can trade with them. For those who are new.

US Economic Outlook - Being Decided - M Capital Group August 2021.pdfpchutichetpong
The U.S. economy is continuing its impressive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and not slowing down despite re-occurring bumps. The U.S. savings rate reached its highest ever recorded level at 34% in April 2020 and Americans seem ready to spend. The sectors that had been hurt the most by the pandemic specifically reduced consumer spending, like retail, leisure, hospitality, and travel, are now experiencing massive growth in revenue and job openings.
Could this growth lead to a “Roaring Twenties”? As quickly as the U.S. economy contracted, experiencing a 9.1% drop in economic output relative to the business cycle in Q2 2020, the largest in recorded history, it has rebounded beyond expectations. This surprising growth seems to be fueled by the U.S. government’s aggressive fiscal and monetary policies, and an increase in consumer spending as mobility restrictions are lifted. Unemployment rates between June 2020 and June 2021 decreased by 5.2%, while the demand for labor is increasing, coupled with increasing wages to incentivize Americans to rejoin the labor force. Schools and businesses are expected to fully reopen soon. In parallel, vaccination rates across the country and the world continue to rise, with full vaccination rates of 50% and 14.8% respectively.
However, it is not completely smooth sailing from here. According to M Capital Group, the main risks that threaten the continued growth of the U.S. economy are inflation, unsettled trade relations, and another wave of Covid-19 mutations that could shut down the world again. Have we learned from the past year of COVID-19 and adapted our economy accordingly?
“In order for the U.S. economy to continue growing, whether there is another wave or not, the U.S. needs to focus on diversifying supply chains, supporting business investment, and maintaining consumer spending,” says Grace Feeley, a research analyst at M Capital Group.
While the economic indicators are positive, the risks are coming closer to manifesting and threatening such growth. The new variants spreading throughout the world, Delta, Lambda, and Gamma, are vaccine-resistant and muddy the predictions made about the economy and health of the country. These variants bring back the feeling of uncertainty that has wreaked havoc not only on the stock market but the mindset of people around the world. MCG provides unique insight on how to mitigate these risks to possibly ensure a bright economic future.

37. 2) 2015 and the upcoming projects
a) East Coast railway line upgrade (Gemas to Tumpat) – RM 150 millions
To upgrade the east coast line from Gemas to Mentakab, Jerantut to Sungai Yu and between Gua
Musang and Tumpat with total up for 620km.
The RM150 million is to kick- start the rehabilitation project. There will be more allocations on
a yearly basis. However, for KTMB to be an efficient rail operator, the whole east coast line
needs to be upgraded as soon as possible to avoid accidents and derailments.
The government is spending around RM16 billion to improve the west coast line from
Seremban-Gemas and Ipoh-Padang Besar with the electrified double-tracking project.
For the east coast line, there are currently no plans to electrify or double-track that stretch.
38. b) Second MRT line (Selayang to Putrajaya) – RM 23 billion
The 56km MRT Line 2 was the second biggest infrastructure project
The project is expected to take five years to complete; preparation work, land
acquisition and moving utilities.
c) Third MRT line
The final circular line is still in the planning stage. Its orbital route around the city
centre will integrate with the rest of the rail network and alleviate pressure in key
areas of the city.
39. d) LRT 3 Project (link Bandar Utama to Shah Alam and Klang)–RM 9b
The route, 36km, proposed to SPAD by Prasarana will begin at the Bandar Utama MRT
station currently in construction and trace the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) to
an interchange station with the Kelana Jaya Line in the vicinity of Glenmarie also under
construction as part of a line extension.
Estimation of one station is around RM 50 millions to RM 60 million.
It is expected to start at the beginning of the second half of 2015 and will be fully
operated on 2020.
40.
41. e) High-Speed Rail (HSR)
For the KL-SG High Speed Rail, the major project on 2020, the high speed rail is
expected to cost RM43 billion (US$12 billion).
The rail is likely to be 330km long while the speed of the high speed rail is at
220kmh.
The eight stops will be on HSR between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
According to Tan Sri Syed Hamid (2015), the chairman of Malaysia’s Land Public
Transport Commission (SPAD), Malaysia will be the high income nation on that
time which is 2020.
42.
43.
44. With a 2020 target closing in, however, the timeline will be challenging.
Mr Tomohiro Kobayashi, a director in the office of project coordination at the
railway bureau of Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism,
noted that the Tokaido Shinkansen, the country's first HSR line, took nearly five
years to construct.
According to Mr. Kobayashi (2014), it will be very tough to meet this (2020)
deadline. Given the time for designing and other processes, the actual construction
should be started within this year.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said a 2020 timeline to build a high-
speed rail link between the city-state and Malaysia was unrealistic, adding that the
two countries hoped to reach an agreement by year-end on when the trains would
start running (up to May 5th).
45. 3) Redevelopment, confusion and cancellation issue
The alignment of the second Mass Rapid Transit line 2 (MRT2) has caused confusion
among the officials and industry executives in the construction and transportation sector.
According to the master plan, it was supposed to
start in Sungai Buloh, where the MRT depot is
being built, and end in Putrajaya.
The Sungai Buloh depot and station is regarded
as probably the largest in South-East Asia and is
designed at a cost to have the capacity and support
the convergence of two MRT lines.

47. MALAYSIA STEEL WORKS (KL) BERHAD - Iskandar Intra-City Rail
Line Cancelled?
The RM1bn intra-city rail line for Iskandar Malaysia in Johor as proposed by Malaysia
Steel Works (Masteel) since 2009 may not be receiving the blessing from the Transport
Ministry and Minister of Finance.
It will build and operate a 100km intra-city commuter CRN system in Iskandar
Malaysia to Woodlands, Singapore. It will use Keretapi Tanah Melayu‟s (KTM)
existing railway track and land reserves. There will be up to 21 commuter stations in the
Iskandar Malaysia region.
The source said that the proposal was NOT approved by the Transport Ministry and
Minister of Finance as the government wants to focus on the high-speed rail system
linking Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, which will likely have a stop in Iskandar
Malaysia and the Rapid Transit System from Johor Bharu to Woodlands.
48. Redevelopment of RM 2 billion on Kerteh-Kuantan Rail Link
The 72km single-track railway line was built in the 1990s with funding from Petronas.
The line, managed by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd, ceased operations more than a year
ago.
It stopped operating due to the sub-standard railway infrastructure and was also not safe.
The Kuantan-Kerteh railway link has been identified for redevelopment to include
passenger services.
This will be a private finance initiative and there are several companies which have
indicated their interest.
The source said the existing single track will be upgraded to double tracking with modern
railway electro-mechanical system, including electrification, to serve passengers.
49. 5.To compare the livability ranking of rail
transport in Malaysia with other global cities

54. Ability of Malaysia to compete with other nation
country in development of rail transport
From ETS Malaysian government had launch the high speed
rail(HSR) project which connecting Malaysia and Singapore
The primary objective for the construction of the HSR is to
reduce the travel time between Kuala Lumpur and
Singapore to 90 minutes by strengthening the link between
two of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant and fast-growing
economic engines
It is also for business purpose because it links to 7 main
cities in Malaysia
55. With this development of rail
transportation , Malaysia must be able
to compete on a regional and global
stage and become a high income nation
Lastly ,this requires redoubling our
effort to attract investment, drive
productivity and innovation.

57. 6.To discuss the duty of vicegerent (government)
based on Islamic perspective in providing an ease
of transportation to the citizens.
58. Surah Al-Baqarah (30):
“And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I
will make upon the earth a vicegerent." They said, "Will You place upon it one
that causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise
and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know”
• Vicegerent: improve the world for and on behalf of Allah, to rule people, to
apply the orders and injunctions of Allah among people, animals and
non-living things
• Government through Ministry of Transportation acts as a vicegerent
• Responsible to create an efficient and effective transportation system
59. Surah An-Nahl (8):
“And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and
[as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know”
• Mankind had no idea that in the future things other than animals could be used
for transportation
• One of the new method of transportation: rail-based transport system
• Ministry of Transportation established a convenient rail-based transport system
• Benefits:
the safest form of transport
a quick and more regular form of transport as it helps in the transportation of people with
speed and certainty
facilitate long distance travel and transport of bulky goods which are not easily transported
through motor vehicles.
60. CONCLUSION
• In conclusion, the rail transportations such as MRT, LRT, KTMB and ERL have been the
most widely chosen by the people to commute either to workplace, school and home.
• As by year increases, the budget also has been increased and its mainly to upgrade the
facilities;
1) from single tracking to double tracking
2) to electrify the train
3) to increase the train frequency and speed
4) to fix the rail.
• Other than that, it is a good initiative and effort done by our government in order to
improve our rail transportation that is to implement huge project of HSR estimated to be
operated by 2020.
• From this project, the diplomacy bonding between countries can be strengthen and
more upcoming projects could be done together.
Editor's Notes
MINISTRY- 3RD POINT: in order to create an efficient, economical and safe rail-based transport system
The Chairman of the Commission is Syed Hamid Albar
1st duty: to ensure that they are road worthy and have valid licenses
2nd duty: to ensure that they are fit
-History shows that mankind has continuously discovered new methods of transportation : boat, ship
-Disadvantages: requires a large investment of capital, inflexible-routes and timings cannot be adjusted to individual requirements, unsuitable and uneconomical for short distances
