This is album poster of Demon Days by Gorillaz, Released 2005. This
poster feature all of the necessary key parts of a poster, mainly of the band
members, 2D the Vocalist, Nooble the Guitarist, Russell the
Drummer,Murdoc ?. The poster was designed to look like the profile
pictures of criminals to link to the characters backgrounds and past, again
linking to the theme of the album and title which refers to each individuals
past, their ‘Demon Days’. The white and black backgrounds give a sense
of purity and seriousness to this otherwise rebellious and outlandish
behaviour as scene in their music videos. The idea of this is to connote the
sense of danger about the group. The basic font in white is designed to
keep the attention on the four band members but still be noticeable against
the black background.
