Spark: Authoring Experience++ in Drupal 7, 8, and BeyondAngela Byron
Spark is an initiative led by Acquia's Office of the CTO under Dries Buytaert, the Drupal project lead. We take a holistic look at Drupal's competition and design and implement features to help close the gaps.
One big gap that has consistently held Drupal adoption back is that of the out-of-the-box content authoring experience. Hand-typing HTML like it's 1994, previews that aren't actually previews, and interfaces that are unusable on a mobile device all present big challenges for those coming to Drupal. While all of these problems have numerous workarounds in contrib, Spark's goal is to improve the Drupal product itself to eliminate this friction innately, so site builders can spend less time smoothing out rough edges and more easily focus on what they came to Drupal to do: build their actual sites. :)
Spark is both a Drupal distribution and a set of discrete modules for both Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 (in many cases, Drupal 8 core) which can enhance the user experience for your site's content authors, including:
Mobile Friendly Navigation Toolbar
In-Place Editing
Responsive Preview
WYSIWYG editing
Improved Accessibility
Redesigned Administration Theme
...and more!
This talk will focus on demonstrating these new features and explain how site builders can take advantage of them, as well as talk about what the next areas of focus for the Spark team will be for Drupal 9 and beyond.
An introduction to WordPress, plus some other projects which have evolved from the WordPress community. This version was presented at WordCamp Philippines, and expanded upon the version presented the week before at WordCamp LA ( http://www.slideshare.net/beaulebens/meet-the-family )

Wireless communication involves the transmission of information over a distance without the help of wires, cables or any other forms of electrical conductors.
Wireless communication is a broad term that incorporates all procedures and forms of connecting and communicating between two or more devices using a wireless signal through wireless communication technologies and devices.
Features of Wireless Communication
The evolution of wireless technology has brought many advancements with its effective features.
The transmitted distance can be anywhere between a few meters (for example, a television's remote control) and thousands of kilometers (for example, radio communication).
Wireless communication can be used for cellular telephony, wireless access to the internet, wireless home networking, and so on.

9. Encryption
Google Drive uses an 128-bit AES encryption and HTTPS to
protect your files. This is a lower encryption level than Dropbox,
which uses a 256-bit AES.
10. File Type Support
• Google Drive supports up to 30 different file types, all of which you
can open directly within your Web browser. Other than your standard
text, audio, and video files, Drive also supports Autodesk, Adobe
Illustrator and Photoshop files, even if you don't have those programs
installed on your computer. That means you can edit documents and
other files without needing to download them to your computer.
• Dropbox does support many file types including PDFs, documents,
video, photos, Photoshop files, and music. They can be viewed in the
browser, but you can't edit them online.
11. Syncing & Speed
• Google Drive does offer some nice features like automatically backing
up your photos without the need for a separate app, but for the most
part, its sync client is slow and you must export any Google Drive files
created if you want to edit them in another program like Microsoft
Word or PowerPoint. This creates a lot of downloading/uploading,
tortoise-like steps, creating a more cumbersome, inconvenient
process. For the larger projects with many collaborators, this can be
headache-inducing.
• Dropbox’s syncing capabilities are 2.3x faster than Google Drive’s.
12. Deleted Files and Old Versions
DROPBOX
Dropbox keeps unlimited versions
of your document for 30 days and
it does not count toward the total
storage space you are allowed.
Google Drive
The way Google Drive deals
version control it is that it stores
up to100 revisions of a document
or 30 days of versions per
document, which counts towards
your total storage allowance.
