A Good Deed ...
CLS team member, Juan Zuniga,
recently provided assistance to a
driver he saw stopped on a high
bridge to change a flat tire.
The driver appreciated Juan’s offer
to help, and thought he had every-
thing covered with the tire change.
Juan decided to hang around to
provide extra blinking lights to alert
oncoming vehicles to the situation. It
was a good thing that Juan stayed
a few extra minutes because the
driver’s car jack broke and he
needed to use Juan’s jack to finish
replacing the flat tire.
Unknown to Juan at the time, he
had stopped to help out an
Enbridge employee. Juan said, “It
was one of those ‘A million to Juan’
cases because I usually stop to
offer help to anyone.”
The Enbridge employee sent a note
to the project leaders to let them
know about Juan’s Good Samaritan
deed and how muc h he
appreciated the help.
Born and raised in Brownsville,
Texas, Juan is a Right of Way
Agent working on the Enbridge
Sandpiper project in Grand Rapids,
Minnesota.
