  3. 3. The region : Alt Penedes offers an harmonic perspective for foreigners: a place with its own personality articulated around the culture of wine and cava, where enotourism starts to be a style of life.

A family started a tradition that would be alive until today… Joana Bonastre, who wrote the previous testament, and her husband, Jaume Bonastre, gave the name of Can Bonastre to the Countryhouse. By that time, vinyeards already existed in their property althought the winery was something that appeared many years after, in 1996, when the current owner decided to produce its own wine, inspired by his special admiration to french chateaux .
