The church we see has hundreds of families growing to become mature followers of Jesus Christ. We are a church that loves God, loves others, connects people with God and grows people.
Learning to love and accept others starts with understanding that God love us and accepts us as we are. When we truly understand this we can be free to be ourselves. When we blow it we say sorry, repent and receive God's forgiveness. When we live this way it is easy to understand that other people are not perfect either.
Overcoming worry by trusting in the character of GodLionel Rattenbury
Trusting in God and becoming dependant upon him is one of the important keys to living in God's perfect peace. Pastor Lionel Rattenbury shares about how we can trust in the character of God.
Agape love (verb) or Agapo love (noun) is the love that God has for his son, the love that Jesus has for us and the love that he wants us to have for others. God's love is unconditional, sacrificial and essential to Christians.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. Zamar:This literally means to pluck
the strings, to celebrate in song and
music. Basically it’s probably the most
common form of “praise” we have
across the world in our churches. It’s
just singing songs put to music.
9. raise G O D
7 way s to p
2. Yadah:This means to show
reverence or praise with extended
hands.
This is practically illustrated by a small
child who wants to be picked up; they
extend their hands high above their
heads in a sign of surrender and desire
to be held.
10. raise G O D

3. Towdah:This word is very similar to
yadah, but has a slightly different
meaning. It means to show agreement
with by extending the right hand.
11. raise G O D
7 way s to p
4. Barak: It means to kneel down, to bow
low as a sign of adoration and reverence.
Carrying with it the idea of humbling
yourself to a place that is lower than the
recipient of your worship (God). As far as
worship goes, this is the most physically
uncomfortable expression of praise, it
takes effort and may cause discomfort.
12. raise G O D
7 way s to p
5. Tehillah:This type of praise is singing,
but not just any type of singing. It’s the
singing that bubbles up from our hearts. It’s
a spontaneous type of singing. These
songs are unrehearsed and unprepared.
They are straight to God.
13. raise G O D

6. Halal: This is the kind of praise that
David exhibited when he danced for joy at
the return of the Ark of The Covenant.
This is also where we get the word
Halellujah from. It literally means to be
clamorously foolish unto the Lord!
This includes dancing and laughing and
leaping and twirling before the Lord.
14. raise G O D
7 way s to p
7. Shabach:Are you ready to get loud?
Shabach means to address in a loud tone.
It’s typically associated with freedom or
triumph. But it’s more than just a loud
shout, it’s the idea of putting everything you
have into it. An attitude of wholehearted
praise.
