2. You can enable this useful feature by
going to Settings -> General -> Undo Send
section. It is possible to set the
cancellation period as 5, 10, 20 or 30
seconds.
Next time when you send an email, use
the “Undo” option which will appear
below the search bar.

that reminds you to add an attachment
before you hit the “Send” button?
To get an alert, be sure to promise a file
in your message. For example, write “I
have attached,” “I have included” and an
alert message will show up.

4. The confidential mode lets you send emails
that contain sensitive information and make
them disappear in a day/a week/etc.
Recipients won’t be able to forward, copy,
download or print them.
When you start composing a new message,
click on the icon with a lock and a clock in
the bottom right-hand corner to turn on/off
the confidential mode.

of your Gmail inbox to match your personal
style. Select a photo or color to not only
customize your inbox, but also boost
productivity.
Do this by clicking the settings icon in the
top right -> select Themes -> choose a
provided photo or color, or you can also
upload your own image.

6. Gmail allows you to enable the reminders to
follow up on sent emails and to reply to
emails you received. These emails will
appear at the top of your inbox.
You can enable both by going to Settings ->
General tab -> Nudges section.

problem.
Start composing a new message or click
Reply, then drag and drop the image from
its folder on your PC to the desired
position in the email.

Advanced -> select Enable next to the
Templates option.
When you’re composing a message ->
click the three dots -> choose Templates.
It’s possible to save the current message
you’re writing as a template, or to drop in
a template that you’ve previously
created.

recognize and select the emails you need,
create labels for your Gmail messages and
then set a different color for each label.
To create more labels, do the following: go
to Gmail Settings -> labels tab -> click the
button that says add a new label.

10. Gmail allows you to schedule your emails
in advance.
You have to compose a new email, and
before you hit send, click the arrow next
to send. This will give you an option to
schedule the delivery. Enter in the
time/date you would like the email to be
sent.
