What is Global Warming
• Global warming is a long-term rise in the average temperature of
the Earth's climate system
• Global warming' is an expression which refers to the effect of human
activities that produces the unnatural change on the climate.
• It is an increase in earth‘s temperature due to burning of fossil fuels
(coal, oil and gas) and large-scale deforestation, which results in
emission of large amounts of 'greenhouse gases' to the atmosphere
Greenhouse Gases
• Greenhouse Gases are existing in the first layer of earth atmosphere
called Troposphere
• It’s the Greenhouse Gases that keeps warm the earth.
• Earth temperature is -18 Celsius without Greenhouse Gases
Greenhouse Gases
• Greenhouse Gases is consisting of
• Water vapor (H2O),
• Carbon dioxide (CO2),
• Methane (CH4),
• Nitrous oxide (N2O),
• Ozone (O3),
• Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs),
• Hydrofluorocarbons (incl. HCFCs and HFCs)
• According to NASA,
Seventeen of the 18
warmest years in the 136-
year record all have
occurred since 2001,
except for 1998. The year
2016 ranks as the
warmest on record
• Troposphere Activity and Earth Warming
Causes of Global Warming?
• Is the Sun to Blame?
• Since 1978, a series of satellite instruments have measured the
energy output of the sun directly. The satellite data show a very slight
drop in solar irradiance (which is a measure of the amount of energy
the sun gives off) over this time period.
• So the sun doesn't appear to be responsible for the warming trend
observed over the past several decades
Causes of Global Warming?
• Most climate scientists agree
the main cause of the current
global warming trend is human
expansion of the "greenhouse
effect“
• So Human activity such as
burning fossil fuels Oil and Coal
increase the carbon dioxide in
atmosphere
Causes of Global Warming?
• Deforestation by burning
forests naturally or
unnaturally
• A big issue causing
increase in the
temperature is garbage
Consequences of Global Warming
• Getting the earth warm it means, it’s the end of Human and other
living Organisms in earth
• Getting Earth warm can cause to
• Melt down the thousands of years Ice Age
• Heavy Hurricane and storm
• Intense Drought
• Everything will be change in earth.
How to Prevent
• The Global Warming is not related to a single community or country,
it’s a global issue
• In order to prevent our environment from the bad effect of global
warming, there should be proper and strict norms which are must
followed by countries direct by United Nation.
• World should follow the recycle process of every possible thing to
avoid the garbage incineration process.
• Another way is to strictly stop the deforestation process as well as
replanting more plants
How to Prevent
• As only trees are the best mediums of reducing the effect of
greenhouse gases
• Trees and soil of tress absorbs and stores carbon dioxide gas as their
food in the presence of sun light
• Another way to lessen the atmospheric temperature is the usages of
low-flow showerheads and washing clothes with warm or cold water
instead of hot water
• We should reduce our needs of personal vehicles and try to use
public transportations like auto-rickshaw, buses, trains, etc.
